Aloe vera isn’t something new and there is a good reason why its still widely used today . Most commonly known for its ability to calm and sooth skin, Aloe Vera has a large profile of vitamins, antioxidants and enzymes that do much more.
Antioxidant Activity:
Vitamin A (beta-carotene), C and E are rich in antioxidant activity that neutralize free radicals and protect against uv radiation damage. The polyphenols present in Aloe Vera create a stabilization and blocking oxidization in the skins surface.
Calming and Soothing Abilities:
There are 8 enzymes present in Aloe Vera that help to reduce inflammation, accelerates wound healing and provide a protective layer to the skin when applied topically. Not to mention it’s cooling sensation.

Touted for it’s healing abilities on a spiritual level, Amber is just as impressive on a physical level. Known for it’s anti-aging, clarifying and soothing properties, Amber’s claim to fame when it comes to skin care comes from its richness of succinic acid.
Succinic Acid is neither an Alpha-Hydroxy-Acid or Beta-Hydroxy-Acid. Skincare experts claim succinic acid to work similar as both AHA’s and BHA’s, but see it as a better alternative because of it’s less aggressive nature. Amber is ideal for most skin types because it gently exfoliates the skin, boosting cellular turnover without causing irritation.
As an anti-aging ingredient, amber extract works to rejuvenate the metabolic processes at a cellular level, helping to rebalance pH levels and prevent excess water loss. Bladderwrack is a type of brown seaweed that belongs to the kelp family and is native to our Northern Pacific coast, Atlantic coast and Baltic Sea.
Seaweeds in general are nutrient dense packed full of various vitamins, minerals, enzymes and amino acids, Bladderwrack is nothing short that. This powerhouse active is a natural source of niacinamide, also known as B3 that is making waves in the skin care industry for it’s ability to brighten your skin tone and fade hypigmentation. Niacinamide also shows promising results for building keratin; a type of protein that keeps your skin firm and healthy, as well as, promotes cermacide growth (lipid barrier), which can in turn, help retain moisture. This is beneficial for all skin types, especially if you have eczema or mature skin.

Although coconut oil is seen as a mirical worker, the one type of skin it is not recommened for is acne prone. It is considered comedogenic becuase of its larger molecule size. One way to enjoy the benefits of Coconut if you are acne prone is to use it in the form of coocnut water.
Coconut water is enriched with detoxifying, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties and cleanses the skin without removing moisture.

Similar to the skins natural sebum, jojoba oil's composition makes it an excellent source for hydration. It is a highly recommended oil for those with dry and oily skin as it regulates the sebum produced on the skin, restores balance to the skin barrier and controls the greasy texture.
Mixing well with the skin’s sebum, it is readily absorbed deep into your skin layers, where it creates a thin, non-occlusive protective layer. This is also why it is said that jojoba allows your skin to “breathe” it penetrates through the pores, but it doesn’t block pores.
The biggest benefit of jojoba oil with respect to aging is its ability to improve collagen synthesis. This is thanks again to those cell-regenerating fatty acids, which work to stimulate production of collagen for smoother skin that bounces back.
Jojoba oil is derived from the seeds of the jojoba shrub, a perennial native to the North American South Western deserts. Jojoba oil makes up about fifty percent of the Jojoba seed by weight, The liquid wax or oil produced by the tiny pods have very low levels of triglycerides, it’s extraordinarily shelf-stable. This makes it an ideal choice for cosmetic products.

Kombu kelp is particularly rich in glutamic acid. Glutamic acid is an amino acid, or a constituent of proteins that act similar to hyaluronic acid (but better) due to its ability to lock in moisture, hydrate and stabilize the pH of the skin.
As a powerful humectant, the fatty acids found in sea kelp also provide moisture and prevent skin from trans-epidermal water loss (TEWL). The invisible film kelp leaves on the skin seals in moisture instead of letting it evaporate.

Beyond the superbloom, Meadowfoam harnesses a world of beauty for the wild and the skin.
Meadowfoam seed oil doesn't just sit on the surface of the skin. Some of its fatty acids can be absorbed into the lipids of the skin's outer layer. In other words, it can help repair that barrier, preventing moisture from evaporating as quickly making it a mega moisrurizer.
While the oil is very similar to the oil our skin naturally produces, it does not clog pores the way some oils might. It also signals to the body not to produce more sebum helping to balance and improve acne.
Meadowfoam oil also soothes inflammation and won't trigger breakouts.
Meadowfoam Seed Oil is one of the most stable lipids known that contain naturally occurring tocopherols and the absence of oxidatively susceptible polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAS) common in other oils. This high level of oxidative stability means Meadowfoam Seed Oil is less likely to go rancid, even when handled in higher temperatures including in the presence of oxygen and other conditions that cause natural oils to demise.

Pineapple is the only natural source for the enzyme bromelian. Bromelian is an enzyme that gently exfoliates the surface layer of dead skin cells, decongest pores, and smooths surface texture without disrupting the skin's pH or lipid barrier making it a great exfoliator for regular use.
Also rich is vitamins C and E, pineapples offer brightening and antioxidant action. The linoleic acid in Red raspberry seed oil has proven to reduce acne breakouts through topical application and is being widely used in acne skincare lines. Squalene is a poly-unsaturated hydrocarbon liquid that’s found naturally in many animals and plants, including human sebum. It’s one of the many natural lipids your body produces to lubricate and protect your skin. Squalene is estimated to make up around 10 percent of your skin’s natural oil. Squalane Is derived from Squalene and is more stable then its parent, provides a longer shelf life and is the choice when it comes to skincare.
Touted as nourishing, hydrating, and renewing as it protects your skin from oxidative damage. When you have oxidative damage, you can get free radicals which turn into age spots, sun spots and contributes to premature aging. Squalane is a natural substance produced by the sebaceous glands that makes up 10 to 12% of your skin’s oil. It’s a natural antioxidant and helps keep your skin stay supple, youthful looking, and hydrated. But as we age, squalene production tends to decline.
Squalane does provide some UV sun protection and is a non-comedogenic, It’s light, non-greasy, it doesn’t clog facial pores, it’s truly great for all skin types.
